Okay, let me start of by saying that I really love this series even though it is the most drama filled and immature (in terms of characters) series I have read to date. I mean honestly, between this book and the previous two, 90% of it is spent with the two main characters fighting (combined number of pages for the first 3 books including this one is 2,113 pages). I am not even joking with these figures... BUT, I can't seem to stop reading the series and liking the way the story just feels real in terms of their ages. AHHH!!! It's truly mind boggling... Now, in terms of the combined number of pages between these 3 books (and that's not including the last 2 in the series-- yes, there are more with the same couple) I can't freakin understand how this one ENDS IN A CLIFFHANGER!?!?!?! Seriously!?! If you haven't figured your crap out now, WILL YOU EVER!?!?! Yikes... This really annoys me if I am being honest.

With that being said, I do in fact LIKE this series (a lot). It's definitely geared towards those who are either IN or enjoy new adult, college romances. The characters are a bit naive (but it works for their age), but their love story is STRONG. This to me, makes all the difference in the world. What I also like is the ease at which the story is told. Sure this book is over 800 pages but it reads like a shorter novel and readers will not have trouble sitting down and reading 200+ pages at a whack.
For those who are unfamiliar with the series, be sure to read it in order. This series is Tessa and Hardin's romance (a tumultuous one at that) and is a pretty epic read.

I first read the series on Wattpad, and even then it was good. This book is more realistic than other YA romance novels I've read. It literally put me a rollercoaster and I found myself immersed in the characters. Good plot and character development overall. I give her major props for being able to write such a solid and elaborate story right off her phone! Despite the minor grammatical and spelling errors, it was well thought out and written. There were nights when I'd go to bed unhappy because of the current situation the main characters were in. You know it's a good book when you are THAT affected by a book

It was absolutely amazing. If you have read the online version then this book will only allow you to appreciate Hardin and Tessa that much more. I have been a fan of this series since it's early days and I am proud to say that the published book version is even better. I highly recommend this series for its characters, plot twists, wit, writing style, and lessons. It's very easy to relate to and handles the discussion of dealing with issues of addiction,family struggles, and self exploration very well. It's an amazing story. Give it a chance and a read. LOVED IT.
